Uber and Lyft will begin testing Baidu’s Apollo Go robotaxis in London in 2026, becoming a member of Waymo and native startup Wayve as corporations that may have autonomous autos within the metropolis subsequent 12 months.
Lyft CEO David Risher stated in a put up on X and LinkedIn that Lyft will begin testing as soon as it receives native regulatory approval. His firm “plans to scale to lots of” of Baidu’s electrical RT6 SUVs from there, although he didn’t lay out a timeline for industrial launch.
